Summary	Receptor for hyaluronic acid (HA) (PubMed:1376732). Involved in cell motility (PubMed:1376732). When hyaluronan binds to HMMR, the phosphorylation of a number of proteins, including the PTK2/FAK1 occurs. May also be involved in cellular transformation and metastasis formation, and in regulating extracellular-regulated kinase (ERK) activity. For non-conforming shRNA, requests for replacement product must be made within ninety (90) days from the date of delivery of the shRNA kit.
