Summary	Specifically recognizes and binds N6-methyladenosine (m6A)-containing RNAs and promotes RNA translation efficiency (By similarity). M6A is a modification present at internal sites of mRNAs and some non-coding RNAs and plays a role in the efficiency of mRNA splicing, processing and stability (By similarity). Shares m6A-containing mRNAs targets with YTHDF1 and YTHDF2, and regulates different processes depending on the context (By similarity). Facilitates the translation of targeted mRNAs in cooperation with YTHDF1 by binding to m6A-containing mRNAs and interacting with 40S and 60S ribosome subunits (By similarity). Acts as a negative regulator of type I interferon response by down-regulating interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs) expression: acts by binding to FOXO3 mRNAs and promoting their translation (PubMed:30591559). Binds to FOXO3 mRNAs independently of METTL3-mediated m6A modification (PubMed:30591559). Can also act as a regulator of mRNA stability in cooperation with YTHDF2 by binding to m6A-containing mRNA and promoting their degradation (By similarity). Performance Guranteed	OriGene guarantees that at least two of the three Dicer-Substrate duplexes in the kit will provide at least 70% or more knockdown of the target mRNA when used at 10 nM concentration by quantitative RT-PCR when the TYE-563 fluorescent transfection control duplex (cat# SR30002) indicates that >90% of the cells have been transfected and the HPRT positive control (cat# SR30003) provides 90% knockdown efficiency.
