Recommend Dilution	Functional Studies: Blocks binding of CD11a (LFA-1) to CD50 (Use Azide free Antibody).  ELISA: Use BSA free Antibody for Coating. Western Blot: 0.5-1 μg/ml. Immunoprecipitation: 0.5-1 μg/500 μg protein lysate. Flow Cytometry: 0.5-1 μg/106 cells. Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1 μg/ml. Immunohistochemistry on Frozen and Formalin-Fixed Paraffin Sections: 0.5-1 μg/ml for 30 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. Positive Control: HL-60 or THP-1 cells. Specificity	Recognizes the D1 domain of an N-glycosylated glycoprotein of 120kDa with intra-chain disulfide bonds, identified as CD50 or ICAM-3 (Leucocyte Workshop VI). CD50 is the major ligand for LFA-1 (CD11a/CD18) and may have signaling role to increase adhesion. It is expressed on thymocytes and T lymphocytes and is resistant to treatment with phosphatidylinositol (PI) phospholipase C. This Monoclonal Antibopdy is excellent for staining of formalin/paraffin tissues. Cellular Localization: Cell surface.
