Recommend Dilution	Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1 μg/ml.  Immunoprecipitation: 0.5-1 μg/500 µg protein lysate. Immunocytochemistry on Acetone or Paraformaldehyde Fixed Sections: 0.25-0.5 μg/ml for 30 minutes at RT.  Immunohistochemistry on Frozen and Formalin-Fixed Paraffin Sections: 0.5-1.0 µg/ml for 30 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tiss ue sections in 10mM Citrate Buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. Positive Control: Human cancer K562, HL-60, HEp-2 or HeLa cells.

This Monoconal Antibody KU729 recognizes a conformational epitope of p70/p80 di mer, which is destroyed during Western blotting. The p70/p80 dimer is important for function of a 460kDa DNA-dependent protein kinase . Ku protein plays a role in cell signaling, proliferation, DNA repair, replication, transcriptiona l activation, and apoptosis.
